the Monday night meeting this week will be held at the Scout Hut and will be from 7-8:30.
We will be doing axe and knife throwing

Mr. Wildhaber found three merit badge opportunities available the days of June 10 to 13 (next week) at the Gateway Arch National Park accompanied by staff members from Gateway Arch National Park. This is available to kids in sixth to eighth grade. Railroading, Indian Lore, and American Heritage Merit Badges are available. You can find more information on them with the following links:

Dear Scouts,

We want to extent a personal thank you to the scouts for the food donations towards our backpack mission at St. Paul United Church of Christ of Columbia. We currently pack a total of 30 bags a week to supply the children in the public schools in Columbia with food for the weekend. There are approximately 16 items in each bag. We also supply the school nurses at all 4 schools with snacks for children that come to school and haven't had breakfast or get hungry during the day. It takes a lot of food to keep this mission going. Your contribution each year is a big help! A big thank you to all of you for your hard work.

If you or your scout needs a position patch, i.e. Patrol Leader, Assistant Patrol Leader, please let me know. The troop will give you one to borrow for as long as you hold that position or you can purchase one, either thru the troop or the scout shop for $4.50.
